etsuukorin: helloneekol: personally, I love this pairing. Especially when Shiki threatens to kill Akira. That’s even better. I don’t understand how Keisuke shippers can’t understand why Shiki is the more popular choice as seme. Shiki’s evil, cunning, dominant, mysterious, and down right manipulative. Perfect for rebellious and emotionless Akira.  If not Shiki, then I’d stick with N. -.- Keisuke’s an a**, naggy, and girly at times. So annoying…  EDIT: did I mention that Keisuke on drugs is a freaky rapist that enjoys killing people slowly? Talk about bi-polar syndrome.  But nonetheless, I would love to play this game when I have the time… for now.. I’m sticking to the books and studying for pharm school. .___. The Keisuke shippers that I know don’t ship it because Shiki’s relationship is really unhealthy. Even when not on drugs, all Shiki wants to do is possess Akira and turn him into his dog/pet/bitch/slut/item. It might be deliciously sexy to physical appeal, but as far as the chemistry and character relationship goes, I’m really not too surprised that Keisuke shippers and other shippers would be against this pairing. You basically play through an entire route to get treated like shit, raped and to act like a whore (not saying that Akira isn’t a whore in other routes because just look at Keisuke’s bad end)… is it really all that surprising that fans of other pairings would dislike this one? While “sexy, dominating and cunning” might be appealing, some people appreciate a more healthy and beneficial relationship.Anyway, sure, Keisuke may be annoying in your opinion, but I feel the need to defend the guy a bit. He genuinely cares about Akira (trying his best to support him) and only takes drugs to try and not burden him, anymore. He’s a normal guy who got himself involved with a murder game. If you put yourself and your best friend in the situation, it’s not quite so annoying or unrealistic. He’s not “bipolar” or usually a “freaky rapist”— he’s under the influence of an extremely dangerous drug, and the only reason he took said drug in the first place was because he thought that Akira wanted him to be stronger. I’m not trying to bash— I just wanted to put that little perspective out there since you said you didn’t understand. ^ WRONG. BOTH OF THEM, AND ALL ARGUMENTS AGAINST ANY SHIP. All the characters needed Akira somehow, Akira was a symbol of their ‘redemption’, even Shiki, Kurosuke, and ultimately N. Akira’s intervention is actually the difference that determines Shiki’s fate in his route, and everybody that has played the game can get what I’m talking about. Shiki actually LOVED Akira, but he didn’t know how to deal with those feelings, and yes, their relationship was sick, but so were ALL THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THE GAME, EVEN MOTOMI’S. I’m TIRED of people being all ZOMG KEIAKI SUCKS, SHIKIAKI IS WRONG, BLAH BLAH. NO, shut the FUCK UP. SHUT IT! If you don’t like it don’t ship it and keep it shut, nobody wants to hear shit about their OTP.
